Eight to ten red roses scattered across the full height and width of a tropical arrangement. Heliconia at the peak. Pink, yellow, and white gerberas through the body. A white lily at the centre. Purple orchids on one side. Anthuriums at the lower front. The roses go in first when building. Before the gerberas, before the lily, before the orchids. The red is set at every height in the foam and everything else responds to where it landed. That distribution creates a visual rhythm where the eye finds red at every level instead of settling on one spot. Wide foliage base keeps the arrangement stable on uneven surfaces and during Bukit Peninsula cliff deliveries where Kadek carries pots down sixty limestone steps to villa entrances. Fifth most popular in Bingin. $47 USD, same day delivery across Bali, seven days a week.

Description

Paloma is the red-rose-through-everything arrangement. Other products use roses as a focal point or a single colour block. Paloma scatters eight to ten red roses across the entire composition, from the base up through the middle to the top, so the red keeps repeating wherever your eye lands. Heliconia at the peak. Pink, yellow, and white gerberas through the body. A white lily at the centre. Purple orchids on one side. Anthuriums at the lower front. And roses threaded through all of it. Our fifty-third most popular product across Bali and fifth in Bingin.

$47.00 USD. Same day delivery, seven days a week, across all Bali locations including Seminyak, Canggu, Kuta, Ubud, Denpasar and Nusa Dua. Arrives in a ceramic pot, ready to display.

What's Inside

At the top, two upright heliconia bract clusters sit at the peak, red-orange with pointed tips. Dark green blade leaves rise among them. Below the heliconia, the arrangement opens into a dense body packed with flowers at every level.

Pink gerberas appear on both sides of the upper section, two or three round heads in a soft medium pink. One or two yellow gerberas sit on the right, smaller and brighter. A white gerbera and one or two white oriental lily blooms hold the centre. Small white spray flowers cluster near the heliconia at the upper right.

Red roses are everywhere. Not grouped in one position but placed throughout the entire arrangement from the lower body up through the middle to the upper section. They appear beside the gerberas, below the lily, above the orchids, and among the foliage. This distribution is what makes Paloma different from every other mixed arrangement in the collection.

On the lower left, purple dendrobium orchid sprays trail outward with multiple blooms. Two or three red-pink anthuriums sit at the lower front and centre, heart-shaped spathes angled outward. The foliage base is wide, broader than most of our arrangements, with large dark tropical leaves and fern fronds extending outward.

Roses as Rhythm

In our 6 Red Rose Arrangement, the roses are the whole product. In Alesha, two or three red roses anchor one side. In Sunny, a single rose sits quietly among eight other flower types. Paloma does something different. It takes the rose and repeats it across the full height and width of the arrangement.

Scattering one flower type through a mixed composition creates visual rhythm. The eye finds a red rose at the top, follows the colour down to another in the middle, picks up a third at the lower left, spots a fourth on the right. Each rose acts like a stepping stone that pulls the eye through the arrangement rather than letting it settle on one spot. Without the roses, the gerberas and lily and orchids would each compete for attention in their own section. With the roses connecting everything, the composition reads as one piece instead of separate clusters of different flowers.

Ay Ayu Owner, Sunny Florist Bali

"There's a difference between an arrangement that has roses in it and an arrangement that is held together by roses. Paloma is the second type. I place the roses first. Before the gerberas, before the lily, before the orchids. I set the red at every height in the foam and then build the other flowers around those positions. If I did it the other way, filling in the gerberas and lily first and then trying to fit roses into the gaps, the red would end up in whatever space was left and the rhythm would be random. Rhythm has to be deliberate. I learned that from watching how the Balinese arrange offerings. The red flowers in a canang sari are never random. They always face a specific direction. I apply the same logic. The red goes in first and everything else responds to where the red landed."

Multi-Colour Gerberas

Paloma uses gerberas in three colours: pink, yellow, and white. Most of our arrangements feature a single gerbera as a focal point. Ivy has one yellow-orange gerbera at the centre. Sunny has a white gerbera and a pink one on opposite sides. Paloma has five or six gerberas scattered across the arrangement in three different colours.

The gerbera is the most recognisable flower shape in any arrangement. Round, flat, with a dark centre. People who cannot name a single flower can point at a gerbera and call it a daisy. Repeating that recognisable shape in three colours gives the eye familiar landmarks throughout the arrangement. Pink gerbera here, yellow one there, white one at the centre. The familiarity of the shape makes the colour differences register faster.

The Bukit Peninsula Market

Bingin sits on the Bukit Peninsula, the limestone cliff coast south of the airport. The area runs from Pecatu down through Bingin to Uluwatu and across to Ungasan. Narrow roads. Steep drops. Villas built into cliff faces with staircases instead of driveways. Kadek knows every delivery challenge on the Bukit because he has driven the routes for years.

The wide foliage base on Paloma is practical as well as decorative. A broader base means a lower centre of gravity. The arrangement sits flat and stable even when the delivery vehicle is navigating uneven roads or when Kadek is carrying the pot down a flight of stone steps to a clifftop villa entrance. Products with tall narrow profiles and small bases are riskier on Bukit deliveries. Paloma's proportions handle the terrain.

Ay Ayu Owner, Sunny Florist Bali

"The first time Kadek delivered to Bingin, the customer had given us a Google pin that landed on the wrong side of the road. He called the customer. She said 'come down the steps, it's the third gate on the left.' The steps were sixty or seventy stairs cut into limestone. He carried the arrangement with both hands, one step at a time, and the foliage around the base kept catching on the railing. After that delivery I started building Bukit orders with the foliage trimmed tighter at the base so the arrangement fits through narrow gaps without snagging. The wide spread you see in the photo is the full version. When an order comes in for Bingin or Pecatu or Uluwatu, I trim the outer fronds back by about five centimetres so Kadek can carry it without losing leaves on the way down. Small adjustment. Makes the difference between arriving perfect and arriving with broken fern tips."

Who Sends Paloma

People who want colour, volume, and tropical character in one arrangement. Paloma sits at the same $47 price as Sunny, Ivy, Farah, and the rest of the named arrangements. What separates it is the red rose density. If the recipient loves red roses but you want more than a single-flower bouquet, Paloma gives them roses scattered through an entire tropical arrangement with gerberas, orchids, lily, heliconia, and anthurium around them.

Birthdays, anniversaries, congratulations, or welcome gifts for someone arriving at a Bukit villa. The arrangement fills a table and the wide foliage base makes it stable on outdoor surfaces where wind or uneven stone might tip something narrower.

Care

Top up the foam with water daily. The roses and lily will peak by day three and begin softening around day five. The gerberas hold through day four or five. The heliconia, anthurium, and orchids will keep going well past day seven. As the roses finish, remove them individually. The tropical flowers and gerberas will continue as a colourful display on their own.
