Description

Twelve white roses in a hand-tied bunch. Fully open blooms with broad petals spread wide, mixed with glossy green foliage and clusters of delicate filler. This is our twenty-fourth most popular product across Bali and the ninth most ordered in Canggu.

$38.00 USD. Same day delivery, seven days a week, across all Bali locations including Sanur, Seminyak, Ubud, Kerobokan, Nusa Dua and Denpasar. Arrives as a hand-tied bunch.

What You Receive

Twelve white roses at full bloom. Not tight buds and not halfway. These are roses that have opened to the point where the spiral centre is visible and the outer petals have relaxed into broad, layered cups. The white is clean and true, not cream, not ivory. Glossy dark green salal leaves are woven through the bouquet at intervals, sitting lower than the blooms so the white reads unbroken from above. Small clusters of filler flowers add texture between the roses without competing for attention. The stems are gathered in a hand-tied spiral below the tie point.

The product photo shows the bunch displayed in a clear glass vase for presentation. What arrives is the hand-tied bunch itself, ready to drop into any vase or container the recipient already owns.

Why White Roses Look Better Open

Most rose colours are selected and shipped at about sixty to seventy percent open. Red roses at full bloom have already started losing pigment. Pink roses that have fully opened are within a day of dropping petals. The florist sends them partially closed so the recipient gets to watch them open over days two and three, which is the peak viewing window.

White roses are the exception. There is no pigment to lose. A fully open white rose is not fading. It is at its most beautiful. The petals catch more light, the centre spiral creates architectural depth, and the flower looks generous rather than tight. A tight white rosebud looks thin and slightly pointed. An open white rose looks lush. I select these at full bloom deliberately because that is when white roses are at their best and they will hold that open shape for days before the petals soften.

Ninth in Canggu

White roses sit ninth in the Canggu order ranking, which puts them in the top third of everything we sell to the area. That ranking is lower than the twelve red roses in first position and the twelve pink roses further up the list, but the white roses serve a purpose the coloured versions cannot. White goes to more types of occasions. The red roses sell heavily around Valentine's Day and anniversaries. The pink roses spike for birthdays and Mother's Day. The white roses sell at a steady rate all year because the occasions they serve never cluster around a single date.

In Sanur and Nusa Dua, white roses rank higher relative to other products than they do Bali-wide. Both areas have established expat communities where white flowers carry a broader range of formal and semi-formal associations. The residential villas in those areas also tend toward neutral interior palettes where white roses fit without clashing.

Ay Ayu Owner, Sunny Florist Bali

I have been running Sunny Florist Bali since 2013 and white roses still surprise me every year. The same twelve white roses go to a wedding villa in Seminyak on Saturday morning and to a cremation ceremony in Denpasar that same afternoon. Sunday they go to a hospital room for a new mother. Monday they go to a restaurant table as an apology. Tuesday someone orders them just because they like white flowers. No other colour does this. Red roses say one thing. Pink says a few things. White says whatever the sender needs it to say. The meaning is not in the flower. It is in the context the flower arrives into. I keep the same arrangement for all of these occasions because the roses do not need to change. The room changes, the card changes, the reason changes. The flowers just need to be beautiful and stay out of the way of the message. After twelve years of filling these orders, I think white is the most versatile colour I sell and the most underestimated.

The Filler That Adds Without Competing

Between the roses you will notice small clusters of filler flowers. These are not there for volume. A dozen roses already fills a vase without help. The filler serves a specific visual purpose. It breaks the gaps between large round blooms so the arrangement reads as continuous rather than as twelve separate flowers sitting next to each other. Without filler, a white rose bouquet can look like a collection of individual flowers. With it, the bouquet reads as a single unified form. The filler clusters are small enough and neutral enough in colour that the eye passes over them and registers them as texture rather than as additional flowers. They make the bouquet feel full without anyone consciously noticing them.

Ay Ayu Owner, Sunny Florist Bali

Ayu noticed something about white roses that took a few years of order data to see clearly. People who order white roses are more likely to order again within thirty days than people who order any other colour. Not because they loved the white roses more than someone else loved their red roses. Because white worked the first time and the second occasion was completely different. A customer who sent red roses for an anniversary does not send red roses again three weeks later for a colleague's promotion. A customer who sent white roses for an anniversary absolutely does send white roses again for that colleague because white fit both occasions without the sender needing to reconsider. The repeat purchase is built into the colour itself.

Who Sends White Roses in Bali

Senders marking formal occasions where colour feels too personal. Condolence orders where red would be wrong and pink would be confusing. Hospital visits where the recipient's taste is unknown. Apologies where bright colours feel too cheerful. Corporate thank-you gestures where the flowers need to look professional. Wedding villa deliveries where white matches the decor. New baby arrivals where the family has not announced a gender and the sender wants to avoid assumptions.

The range of occasions is broader than any other single-colour product in the bunch collection. At $38, twelve white roses sit at the same price as twelve red or twelve pink. The colour carries no premium. The difference is that white pays for itself more often because it fits more situations without the sender needing to think about whether it is appropriate.

Compared to Our Other White Arrangements

The 12 White Roses With 3 Calla Lilies adds three calla lily stems for a more formal, structured look at $45. The callas shift the arrangement from everyday versatile to deliberate luxury. If the occasion calls for something more formal, the calla version is worth the extra seven dollars. If the purpose is broad and the sender wants something clean and reliable, this bunch at $38 does the job.

For white flowers in a foam arrangement with mixed varieties, see Asha at $47 or browse the full arrangement collection. For roses in other colours, the rose category has every option from a single rose with a teddy at $22 up to the Rose Heart at $85.

Care

Trim all stems at a forty-five degree angle and place in a clean vase with fresh water. The spiral tie holds the dome shape so there is no need to rearrange individual stems. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline. Change water every two days. White roses will continue opening over the first three days and hold their full-bloom shape through day five or six. Because there is no pigment to degrade, white roses do not fade the way coloured roses do. They simply soften gradually and the petals loosen. A fully open white rose on day five still looks intentional rather than spent.
