Traditional Balinese Flower Arrangements
I designed each one of these. The triangular form, the flowers, the build sequence. No other florist in Bali sells them online. If you want a traditional Balinese arrangement delivered same day anywhere in Bali, this is the only place to order.
My name is Ayu. I have owned Sunny Florist Bali for twelve years. These twelve arrangements are my originals. I built them around the triangular construction that has been used in Balinese ceremony for centuries, and I adapted each one to suit different occasions, colour needs, and moods. They are all $47 USD and I deliver them same day, seven days a week, to every part of Bali.
Three to Consider First
A Range of Styles
The twelve arrangements cover a wide range, from all-white ceremonial designs to warm tropical bursts of colour. These three show the breadth.

Why Traditional Construction Matters
The triangular form is not a style choice. It is a structural decision with a long history in Bali. These two things are worth understanding before you order.
"The triangular form in Balinese design points upward toward the sacred mountain, Gunung Agung. It is the same silhouette you see in temple offerings, in the cili figures made of palm leaf. I did not invent this shape. I adapted it for cut flowers. Every arrangement I build follows the same sequence: foliage frame first to establish the outer boundary, feature flowers second at staggered heights to create depth, trailing orchid sprays third for movement. Reed grass or steel grass last, rising above everything to give the triangle its peak. Flat across the top and the whole structure looks deflated. The height completes it."
"The foam underneath is what holds the triangle together. Without it, the flowers shift and the shape collapses within hours. The foam also keeps every stem in water independently, which is why these arrangements last longer than a hand-tied bouquet in a vase. I have had customers send me photos of arrangements still standing on day nine."
"I source dendrobium orchids from the highlands around Bedugul, above 1,000 metres. The cooler temperature there produces a tighter, more robust bloom than lowland orchids. Most days they are cut and in my shop within a few hours. In Bali's humidity, at sea level where most deliveries go, a dendrobium will stay open and adding new blooms for seven days. A rose from Java or Australia in the same conditions gives you four to five good days before the outer petals start browning. This is why dendrobium orchids appear in most of my arrangements, even the ones that are primarily roses. They carry the design through to the end of the week."
"White flowers in Bali have specific ceremonial meaning. Placed facing east, toward the sunrise and toward Gunung Agung, they represent Iswara, one of the nine sacred directions in Balinese Hinduism. This is why the all-white arrangements, particularly Asha, are used for ceremony, for temple days, for Nyepi, and for canang sari contexts where the family wants something more formal than the usual daily offering. You do not need to know any of this to order. But it helps explain why white flower arrangements carry more weight here than in any other market I have worked with."
What to Send
Choosing the Right Arrangement for the Occasion
The twelve designs are not all interchangeable. Colour carries real meaning in Balinese culture, and some arrangements photograph better in villa or resort settings than others. This is my honest guide to what suits what.
Birthday
Warm and colourful reads best for birthday deliveries. Kyla (pink roses and orchid), Sunny, Marley, and Sienna are the arrangements most ordered for birthdays. The triangular form sits well on a villa table or resort dresser, which is where most recipients end up putting it.
Anniversary and Romance
The anniversary arrangements I use most are Kyla, Paloma, and Alesha. Roses in the triangular form feel more considered than a simple rose bunch. If the couple is celebrating somewhere special, Ayu (named after me) is the one I would send personally.
Ceremony and Sympathy
Asha is the arrangement for this. All-white, traditional triangular, built with oriental lily, dendrobium orchid, and spray chrysanthemum. White flowers sit in the eastern direction in Balinese Hindu tradition, connected to Iswara. For cremation ceremonies, temple days, and condolence deliveries, Asha is the one I always recommend. If Asha is unavailable that day, Ivy is the closest in tone.
Villa, Hotel, and Hospital
For BIMC Hospital or Siloam Hospital deliveries, the foam-built arrangements are the practical choice. No vase required, no scissors, no water level to maintain. The nurse can place it on the bedside table and leave it there. I avoid heavily scented flowers for hospital orders. The white and pale arrangements, Asha and Ivy, suit hospital rooms best. For villa centrepieces, anything works, but Sunny and Farah tend to photograph most strongly.
Nyepi and Balinese New Year
Nyepi is a full day of silence in Bali. Deliveries need to happen the day before. The all-white arrangements, Asha in particular, are traditionally used at this time. Warm and colourful arrangements also work if the family wants something celebratory for the days leading into the quiet period. I take Nyepi orders one to two days in advance to be certain of timing across all delivery areas.
Not Sure?
Call me. The phone number is below. I will ask you two questions: the occasion and the colour preference. From those two answers I can tell you exactly which arrangement to order. I prefer a quick call to a guessed order any day.

Same Day Delivery Across All of Bali
Every arrangement on this page is $47 USD. Same day delivery is available seven days a week. I cover the full island, including Seminyak, Kuta, Canggu, Nusa Dua, Denpasar, Sanur, Uluwatu, Tabanan, Ubud, and every area in between.
Place your order by 5pm for same day delivery. That gives me enough time to source any fresh stems needed, build the arrangement, and get it routed to your delivery area before the end of the day. Orders after 5pm are delivered the following morning. For hospital deliveries to BIMC or Siloam, I recommend ordering before 2pm — both hospitals require me to coordinate with reception before a delivery is accepted, and that takes time I do not have in the final hour of the day.
Add a candle to any arrangement at checkout. Scents available: frangipani, coconut, or lavender. The candle message is selected from the checkout list and attached to the arrangement on delivery.
If something is not right with the arrangement on arrival, send me a photo within 24 hours and I will fix it. Photograph the arrangement from two sides so I can see the full picture. You can reach me by phone, WhatsApp, or through the contact form. I do not ask customers to argue with forms or wait for a ticketing system.
After delivery, keep the arrangement out of direct afternoon sun and away from air conditioning vents, both of which dry the foam faster than the flowers can absorb. Top up the foam with a small amount of water every two days — a cup poured slowly into the base is enough. The dendrobium orchids will continue opening new buds for several days after delivery, so the arrangement actually improves through the first week.
