Description
Twenty-four red roses in a hand-tied bunch. This is the largest red rose bunch in the entire collection. The sixty-rose product is an arrangement set in foam inside a terracotta pot. This is twenty-four stems held together by nothing except the spiral technique and a single tie. It is the product people choose when twelve red roses is not enough and sixty is too much. Seventh most popular across all of Bali, third in Canggu, fifth in Ubud, third in Kuta and Legian, and seventh in Benoa.
$75.00 USD. Same day delivery, seven days a week, across all Bali locations including Seminyak, Nusa Dua, Denpasar, Sanur, Kerobokan and Jimbaran. Twenty-four red roses arrive hand-tied with foliage as a bunch.
What Arrives
Twenty-four deep red roses packed into a dense dome so tight that nearly every bloom presses against the one beside it. The red is uniform across all twenty-four stems, the same deep classic red used in the twelve-rose bunch and the sixty-rose arrangement. The roses are partially to fully open with layered petals and the centres visible. Some broad green leaves sit behind and around the lower edges of the dome but the foliage is minimal compared to the twelve-stem products. At twenty-four roses, the blooms fill the space that foliage would normally occupy. The green frames the outside edge and that is all. Stems are visible below the tie point, gathered in a spiral and spreading outward naturally. No wrapping. No vase. No box. No accessories of any kind.
Why Twenty-Four Exists
I ran the shop for two years selling red roses at one, three, six, and twelve. Those were the counts I started with in 2013 from the shop on Jl. Camplung Tanduk. The twelve-rose bunch sold well from the beginning and it still sells well now. But by late 2014 I was getting the same request from a specific type of customer. Senders who wanted red roses, wanted a lot of them, wanted a bunch they could hand directly to someone or drop in a vase, and wanted to spend more than $38 but nowhere near $140. The gap between twelve and sixty was enormous. Twelve to twenty is eight extra roses. Twenty to sixty is forty. There was nothing in between for the sender who thought in red rather than pink.
I added twenty-four in early 2015. Not twenty, because I already had twenty in pink and I needed the red version to be different. Not thirty, because thirty stems in a hand-tie starts to collapse under its own weight without a secondary support. Twenty-four was the highest count I could tie in a single spiral that held its dome shape reliably through the delivery ride. I tested twenty-five and twenty-six. Both held in the shop but shifted on the motorbike because the extra two or three stems pushed the centre of gravity past the point where the tie could hold the spread. Twenty-four stays put.
The spiral has to be tighter at twenty-four than at twelve. With twelve stems I can lay each one at a relaxed angle and the bunch holds because there is room for each stem to press against its neighbours with enough friction. With twenty-four, the inner stems are under compression from all sides. If I spiral too loosely the centre pushes upward when I tie and the dome splits into a flat disc. If I spiral too tightly the stems at the core get crushed and the roses in the middle bruise before delivery. The window between too loose and too tight is about two millimetres of angle per stem. I can feel it now. It took a full year of building twenty-four-rose bunches before my hands found that window reliably. The first few months I remade about one in four because the dome was wrong. Now I remake maybe one in twenty, and only when a particular batch of roses has stems that are thicker than average and change the compression dynamics.
Third in Canggu, Fifth in Ubud, Third in Kuta and Legian
The twelve-red-rose bunch is the number one product in Canggu. This product ranks third. The twelve-rose bunch outsells it overall because most Canggu orders are quick romantic gestures from partners overseas. They search "red roses Bali delivery," they see twelve for $38, and they order. The sender who orders twenty-four has already scrolled past the twelve. They saw the twelve, considered it, and decided it was not enough for what they wanted to say.
That decision tells you something about the occasion. Twelve red roses works for "thinking of you" and "happy birthday" and midweek surprises. Twenty-four tends to land on occasions with weight behind them. Anniversaries where the couple has been together long enough that twelve feels like autopilot. Valentine's Day where the sender wants to exceed expectations rather than meet them. Apologies where the scale of the gesture needs to match the scale of whatever went wrong. The product ranks third in Canggu because Canggu has the highest concentration of long-distance relationships sending to Bali and those relationships produce the occasions that demand more than twelve.
Ubud at fifth place is a different pattern. Ubud is inland, an hour from the coast, surrounded by rice terraces and river valleys. The population is a mix of Balinese families, long-stay wellness travellers, artists, yoga practitioners, and creative expats. It is not a beach holiday destination. The people in Ubud tend to be there on purpose, for longer stays, with deeper connections to the island and to each other. When an Ubud sender orders twenty-four red roses, the occasion is almost always personal and considered. Ubud does not generate many impulse gift orders. It generates orders from people who know exactly what they want and how they want it to look when it arrives.
Kuta and Legian are the tourist heartland. Hotels everywhere. Short-stay visitors. Holiday romance. The product ranks third across both areas because the hotels create a natural audience for red roses at volume. Twenty-four roses on a hotel room desk fills the space in a way that twelve cannot. The sender ordering to a Legian resort room is paying for a visual that fills the room the moment the recipient opens the door. That reaction is worth the difference between $38 and $75.
Benoa sits on the peninsula south of Nusa Dua. Tanjung Benoa is a strip of mid-range to upper-range resorts along a narrow spit of land known for water sports and package holidays. The demographic skews toward couples on organised tours and families at all-inclusive resorts like the Conrad, the Novotel, and the Holiday Inn. The product ranks seventh there because the occasion profile is similar to Kuta and Legian: holiday romance and birthday surprises for partners travelling together.
A man in Brisbane called me at 6am Bali time on a Tuesday. Not WhatsApp. An actual phone call. He said he had been engaged to his girlfriend for two years and they had been planning a Bali wedding for the following month. She had flown over early to meet with the venue coordinator in Ubud while he finished a work project in Queensland. He wanted roses delivered to the villa where she was staying. I asked how many. He said "more than a normal amount." I asked what that meant to him. He said "I want her to open the door and know that this is not a regular delivery." I suggested twenty-four. He asked if that would look like a lot. I told him that twelve is a bouquet and twenty-four is an event. He paused and said "that is exactly the word I was looking for." Card message: "One month." She called me after the delivery. Not him. She called me. She said she had been stressed about the wedding logistics and the flowers made her cry in the villa doorway. I hear that a lot with this product. The volume does something that a standard dozen cannot do. It overwhelms. And sometimes being overwhelmed is exactly what someone needs.
The Price Between Twelve and Sixty
At $75, this product doubles the rose count of the $38 bunch for roughly double the price. The per-rose cost is about $3.12, which is comparable to the twelve-rose bunch at $3.17 per stem. There is no premium per rose for ordering more. The sender gets double the volume at double the price with no markup for size.
The Rose Heart at $85 uses twenty-five to thirty roses but in a flat heart shape set in foam. Different format, different visual, different message. The sixty-rose arrangement at $140 delivers the maximum volume but in a terracotta pot with foam, not as a hand-tied bunch. This product is the only way to send more than twelve red roses as a loose, natural, hand-tied bouquet that the recipient puts into their own vase and arranges to their own taste. That format appeals to the buyer who wants the roses to look like they came from a flower market rather than a catalogue.
Who Orders This
Partners sending from overseas to Canggu, Seminyak, and Kuta for occasions that carry weight. Anniversary senders. Valentine's senders who want to exceed the standard dozen. Apology senders. Engagement celebrations. Wedding-adjacent surprises to Ubud villas. Senders to Benoa and Nusa Dua resort rooms who want twenty-four roses on the desk when the recipient walks through the door. Anyone who has looked at twelve red roses and thought "not enough" and looked at sixty and thought "too much."

Care
Twenty-four stems need a large vase. A standard kitchen vase will feel tight and the outer roses will be forced flat against the rim. Use the widest vase available and let the stems spread naturally at the base. Trim half a centimetre at a diagonal from each stem before placing in water. Strip all foliage below the waterline. Change the water every two days and re-trim on day three. The roses will continue opening and the dome will relax slightly over days two and three as the outer blooms drop under their own weight. This is normal and gives the bunch a lush, overflowing quality by mid-week. Expect five to six days of vase life in a cool spot away from direct sunlight and fruit bowls.
