What Arrives
Twelve red roses in deep classic red, hand-tied with green rose foliage filling the spaces between stems. The roses are partially open with tight spiral centres still visible. The bunch has enough volume to fill a standard vase without needing any rearrangement. Beside the bunch sits the same tan teddy bear with a plaid bow that appears across the gift range. In front, an open-topped box of assorted milk and dark chocolates. Three items delivered together, each doing a different job.
The product photo shows the roses standing upright in a clear rectangular glass vase with water. That vase is for display only. What Kadek delivers is the bunch, the bear, and the chocolates. If the recipient has a vase at home, the roses go straight in. If they are staying in a hotel room or a short-stay villa, they will need to find a container or ask at reception.

"Legian resort deliveries taught me something I did not expect. The mid-range hotels are actually harder to deliver to than the luxury ones. At a five-star resort in Nusa Dua, the concierge handles everything. They know the room, they know the schedule, they place the flowers before the guest returns. At Legian's mid-range hotels, the front desk is busy with check-ins and taxi bookings and pool towel requests. Kadek sometimes waits twenty minutes for someone to take the delivery. So I started calling ahead. To confirm the room number, yes, but mainly to find out who on staff would actually walk the flowers to the room rather than leaving them on the front desk where the chocolates soften in the heat. Now I have a contact name at most of the Legian hotels. That took two years of building relationships. The product is the easy part. Getting it from the lobby to the room in good condition is where the real work happens."
The Hotel Room Problem
Most hotel rooms do not come with a flower vase. This is the practical reality of sending a bunch to someone staying in holiday accommodation. Twelve Roses as a Bunch
Twelve is a strong number for a hand-tied bunch. Six roses make a slim arrangement. Twenty roses need both hands to hold. Care
Place the twelve roses in a clean vase with fresh water immediately on arrival. Trim half a centimetre from each stem at a diagonal before placing them in the vase. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline. Change the water every two days and re-trim the stems on day three for a fresh cut. The roses will continue opening over the first three days and should hold colour and form through day five or six in a cool spot away from direct sunlight. The teddy bear needs no care. Chocolates should stay cool and be eaten within a day or two of arrival.
